Hybrid training courses
Hybrid WAH training courses are designed for all workers using personal fall protection equipment. They combine online training and practical training. Practical training is delivered in a training venue providing appropriate equipment and facilities.
The online platform
The online platform provides online access to theoretical knowledge tailored for various sectors: telecommunications, energy, manufacturing, and construction industry. The presentations are divided into several lessons, each of which ends with a short test. A minimum of 75% of correct answers is required to complete this part of the training.
Video instructor
The video instructor is a theoretical lecture and presentation of work at height equipment delivered online from a studio; filmed by a pro camera and there is also the possibility to ask questions, discuss certain topics and consult the trainer on the fly.
Industry-tailored training videos
Industry-tailored instructional videos are another option as far as the theoretical part of a hybrid training is concerned. Rock Master has prepared 40 instructional videos showing correct fall protection in various situations and environments, dedicated for four industry sectors. The videos are from a few minutes to over ten minutes long. Access is granted temporarily and on an individual basis via Vimeo.
Virtual reality
Virtual reality (VR) is part of the practical training delivered using HTC goggles. Rock Master has prepared 32 training modules using an interactive computer game realistically mirroring typical working environments such as chimneys, roofs, construction sites. The trainees use sensors to control their virtual hands and perform all the actions required to complete a given task, such as climbing a ladder or abseiling. This innovative technology is a proven educational technique that efficiently supports work at height training.
Practical training (real world)
Practical training (real world) is simply a conventional training session in a WAH training facility equipped with appropriate tools and fall protection devices. Rock Master is able to provide these in proprietary facilities located in Kraków-Balice, Poznań-Kostrzyn, Warsaw and Gdańsk, as well as in locations specified by the client (preparations ahead of training are required).

Hybrid training options
We offer 11 hybrid training variants to choose from. Please see table below for number of modules each of the variants consists of (as per the second figure in the list of variants). The respective modules are checked on the list. For example, variant 4-3 consists of online platform access + virtual reality session + practical training; whereas variant 11-2 consists of two parts: instructional videos viewed online and practical training in one of our facilities or at a client’s site.
✓ - The "Check" indicates that the training variant in question contains a particular element.
